How Mines works

You get a grid (usually 5 by 5) with a number of hidden mines you choose yourself. Every safe tile you reveal raises your multiplier, and you can cash out after any tile. Hit a mine and the bet is gone. More mines means a bigger multiplier per tile and a smaller chance of surviving. On provably fair sites the mine positions are fixed by the seeds before your first click, so you can check afterwards that nothing moved.

Is there a Mines strategy that always wins?

No. Every tile is a fresh risk and the house edge is built into the multipliers, so no pattern of clicks beats it over time. Picking fewer mines only makes the swings smaller.

Can the site move the mines after I click?

Not on a provably fair site: the board is decided by the server seed, your client seed and the round number before you start. Reveal the seed afterwards and check the board yourself.
