DatDrop is a CS2 case site that's been around for years: cases, battles, an upgrader, a race and new squad battles for up to five teams. About 390,000 visits in July (HypeStat), mostly from the US, Germany and Turkey. We couldn't find out who runs it.

Games

A big, frequently updated case library, from $1 cases to $80+. Squad battles are the new thing: up to 15 players across 5 teams, one prize pool. Provably fair, and every case page shows its commission (the house edge): about 8% on most cases, which is low for a case site.

Payments and cashing out

Deposit by card, crypto or skins; withdraw skins only. Here's the catch, and it's a big one. You can only withdraw a skin within a price range DatDrop gives you. One player hit Sport Gloves Superconductor, worth about $4,775 at the time, and says the range he was given topped out around $900. Another won a €22 AK from his free welcome case and says he was told to deposit €260 before he could withdraw it. That's not free, that's bait.

Design and UX: 7.5/10

One of the best-looking case sites. Clean top nav (Cases, Upgrade, PVP, Race), a live drop strip, and a custom illustrated banner for squad battles with one clear button. The dark purple and orange style is consistent and the art is original. It even has a "Hide this banner" option, which more sites should copy.

Trust

4.2 on Trustpilot from about 1,800 reviews looks great, and there are long-time players saying they've had eight years without a problem. But the 1-stars are specific and serious: the deposit-before-withdraw rule on free-case wins, capped withdrawal ranges on big hits, and players who say their account got flagged after a win.

Verdict

DatDrop is a good-looking, well-stocked case site with a strong player score. But the withdrawal rules matter more than the art: if a big hit can only come out as a fraction of its value, the big hit isn't real. Read the withdrawal rules before you deposit.
