You get a grid (usually 5 by 5) with a number of hidden mines you choose yourself. Every safe tile you reveal raises your multiplier, and you can cash out after any tile. Hit a mine and the bet is gone. More mines means a bigger multiplier per tile and a smaller chance of surviving.
