How to use it
- Pick your game (CS2 by default).
- Type your mouse DPI and your in-game sensitivity.
- Read your eDPI, cm/360 and the share of pros with a lower eDPI. Other games are compared through the CS2 sensitivity that aims the same.
- Tap a pro to see their full settings. Copy the URL to share your result.
The formula
eDPI = DPI x in-game sensitivity
cm/360 = 360 / (yaw x sensitivity x DPI) x 2.54
The yaw is how far the game turns per mouse count at sensitivity 1: 0.022 degrees in CS2 (m_yaw in the game's command list). That's why one eDPI number is enough to compare two CS2 players with different mice, and why it can't compare players in different games. For that, use the sens converter.

FAQ
- How do you calculate eDPI?
- Multiply your mouse DPI by your in-game sensitivity. 800 DPI at 1.25 sensitivity is 1,000 eDPI; 400 DPI at 2.5 is also 1,000, and both turn exactly the same in game.
- What is a good eDPI for CS2?
- There's no single right number, but most pros sit in a narrow band. In our pro settings data the 19 players run from 652 (NiKo) to 1236 (s1mple) eDPI, with a median of 800. That's 52 cm for a full 360.
- Can you compare eDPI between games?
- No. eDPI is DPI x sensitivity, and each game turns a different angle per unit of sensitivity. 800 eDPI in CS2 turns like 251 eDPI in Valorant. Compare cm/360 instead, or use the sens converter.
- Is eDPI the same as cm/360?
- They measure the same thing from opposite ends. eDPI goes up as you get faster; cm/360 (how far you move the mouse for a full turn) goes down. cm/360 is the one that works across games.
- Is 400 or 800 DPI better?
- For aim, the eDPI is what counts, not the DPI alone. Among our pros, 10 use 400 DPI and 7 use 800 DPI, and the rest use other values. Higher DPI with lower in-game sensitivity gives finer steps per count.
