General drops

From any Rust stream with the Drops Enabled tag.

Streamer drops

Only from the streamer named on each drop.

How to claim Rust drops

  1. Go to Facepunch's drops site and connect both your Steam and Twitch accounts.
  2. Watch a Rust stream with the Drops Enabled tag (any one for general drops, the named streamer for theirs).
  3. When a drop unlocks, claim it in your Twitch drops inventory.
  4. The item reaches your Steam inventory within about 10 minutes.

Rust drops FAQ

How do I get Rust Twitch drops?
Link your Steam and Twitch accounts on Facepunch's drops site, then watch Rust streams with the Drops Enabled tag. General drops unlock from any of those streams; streamer drops only from that streamer. Claim each drop in your Twitch drops inventory and it arrives in your Steam inventory.
Can I watch several streams at once to get drops faster?
No. Facepunch says you only earn towards one channel at a time, so watching more than one stream doesn't speed anything up.
How long until drops show up in my Steam inventory?
Up to 10 minutes after you press Claim. If an item isn't there after 30 minutes, your Steam account probably wasn't linked when you claimed it: link it on Facepunch's drops site and use the button to check for missing drops.
Do I need Twitch Prime or to own Rust?
No Twitch Prime needed. You do need Rust in your Steam library to receive the items.
