CS2 Console Commands
The commands worth knowing, with what they do, their default and their limits. Every one is checked against the game's own command list as of 2 October 2026, so nothing here is from CS:GO and no longer works.

Console FAQ
- How do I open the console in CS2?
- Go to Settings > Game and set Enable Developer Console to Yes. Then press the key above Tab (~ or ` on most keyboards) to open it.
- Why does a command say it needs sv_cheats?
- Commands like noclip, god and sv_infinite_ammo only work with sv_cheats 1, which you can only turn on in a game you host, such as a practice match or a private server. They never work in matchmaking or on FACEIT.
- Is there a net_graph in CS2?
- No. CS2 removed net_graph. Use the HUD telemetry settings instead (cl_hud_telemetry_frametime_show, cl_hud_telemetry_ping_show and the network graphs), or turn them on under Settings > Game > Telemetry.
- Do jump throw binds still work?
- No. Since 19 August 2024, binds that do more than one movement or attack action at once no longer work, which includes jump throw and null binds. Valve made jump throws reliable without a bind instead: jump and throw quickly.
- How do I save a practice config?
- Paste the practice commands into a text file called practice.cfg in your CS2 cfg folder (Counter-Strike Global Offensive/game/csgo/cfg in your Steam library), then type exec practice in the console after starting a practice match.
Commands, defaults and limits come from the game files, extracted after every update by SteamDB's CS2 game tracking; rule changes from Valve's update notes. Set up your crosshair with our crosshair code generator.
