Manifold in 2026

Manifold is a prediction market where nothing is real money. You trade with mana (Ṁ): you get Ṁ1,000 when you sign up and you can buy more, but mana can't be turned back into cash. Anyone can create a market on anything, from elections to which team wins a CS2 tournament. Manifold Markets, Inc. launched it officially in February 2022.

Bonus

We don't have a Betrefs code for Manifold yet. We're working on one, so check back soon. The sign-up mana is for everyone, and verifying your phone number adds a bonus.

Money

Buying mana is optional: $1 buys Ṁ100 by card or USDC. Manifold ran real-money "sweepcash" sweepstakes for a while, but ended them in March 2025.

Verdict

The best free way to learn how prediction markets work, or to forecast for fun. It's not a place to win money.
