CS2 Drop Pool

How to use it

1. Earn your first XP rank of the week with Prime to get a Weekly Care Package.
2. Compare the four items it offers with the prices below: open a collection to see every skin and what it sells for.
3. Claim your rewards before you earn the next package, or they're lost.

How the Weekly Care Package works

• It replaced CS:GO's random weekly drops when CS2 launched (27 September 2023): you now choose from weapon cases, weapon finishes and graffiti.
• You get it the next time you earn an XP rank, once a week. Prime Status is needed to earn XP and weekly rewards.
• The package shows four items. You claim with a balance of rewards, and some items cost both of your rewards.
• Unclaimed rewards can be claimed later from the store, but they're gone once you earn your next package.
• Cases from the package need a key to open.

What Valve hasn't published

Valve's notes list the weapon collections it adds to and removes from the care package, and the terminals it makes available as weekly drops. They don't list which weapon cases are offered, the older collections that were already in the pool before 2025, or how likely each item is. Pages that list "active drop pool cases" work from what players report, so we leave those out rather than guess.

FAQ

What is in the CS2 drop pool right now?

Valve has announced these as part of the Weekly Care Package: the Achroma Collection, Harlequin Collection, Ascent Collection, Boreal Collection, Radiant Collection weapon collections, and the Dead Hand Terminal and Genesis Terminal as weekly drops. Weapon cases and graffiti are in the package too, but Valve doesn't publish which cases.

How does the CS2 weekly drop work?

With Prime, the first time you earn an XP rank in a week you get a Weekly Care Package. It shows four items and you claim your rewards from them; some items take both of your rewards. If you don't claim them before you earn the next package, they're gone.

Which cases are in the CS2 drop pool?

Valve doesn't list them. Its release notes name the weapon collections it adds and removes, but not the cases offered in the care package, so lists of drop pool cases you see elsewhere come from players' observations.

Do you need Prime for weekly drops?

Yes. The game says Prime Status is required to earn XP and weekly rewards, so without it you get no care package.

When did the drop pool last change?

11 March 2026: Dead Hand Terminal added as a weekly drop: it gives access to items from the new Dead Hand Collection.
