Robinhood Prediction Markets in 2026
Robinhood added event contracts at the end of 2024. You trade Yes or No contracts from 1 to 99 cents that pay $1, through Robinhood Derivatives, LLC, a CFTC-registered futures broker. The contracts themselves are listed on CFTC-regulated exchanges: Kalshi, ForecastEx, North American Derivatives Exchange and Rothera, a joint venture of Robinhood and Susquehanna. Markets include sports, politics, the economy and crypto, and esports such as CS2.
Who can use it
US customers with an approved derivatives account. Maryland residents can't trade event contracts at all, and residents of Nevada and Michigan can't open new sports contracts.
Bonus
We don't have a Betrefs code for Robinhood yet. We're working on one, so check back soon.
Fees
An exchange fee (about a cent) plus Robinhood's commission, which since June 2026 depends on price and order size and is never more than a cent per contract.
Verdict
The easiest way in if you already use Robinhood in the US: low costs and regulated exchanges underneath. Nobody else can use it.
