Stake in 2026

Stake is the biggest crypto casino and sportsbook in the world, and it's not close. It launched in 2017, it's run by Medium Rare N.V. under a Curaçao licence, and its founders are public: Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani, who also own the streaming platform Kick. Semrush has it at about 108 million visits in August (down from 148 million in March). On-chain data puts it at about $2.24 billion in crypto deposits over 30 days from more than 777,000 depositors, almost half of all the crypto casino volume that data tracks.

Games

Everything. Thousands of slots, live casino, a full sportsbook, and the Stake Originals (dice, limbo, mines, plinko, crash). Stake publishes a 1% house edge on its originals, and on-chain data measured 1.01%. That's the standard every site should meet: publish the number, and let it be checked.

Payments and cashing out

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, Solana, XRP and more, and crypto withdrawals are fast. In some countries you can also deposit through local bank or payment partners, and that's where most of the complaints are.

Design and UX: 8.5/10

This is the benchmark. One headline, one blue Register button, Google, Facebook and Kick sign-in, then two tiles telling you how many people are playing Casino and Sports right now, a search bar and trending games. The side menu is short and labelled. It's calm, fast and consistent, and it doesn't shout. The only thing I'd cut is the cookie box. Every other casino on this list should look at Stake before redesigning.

Trust

Stake scores 3.9 on Trustpilot from almost 11,900 reviews, which is strong at this size. The recent 1-stars are mostly the same problem: bank transfers and INR deposits that were taken from a bank account but never showed up on Stake, and support that answers from a script. One player says a deposit was refunded after an AML check triggered.

Then there's the legal side. Its US sister site, Stake.us, faces class actions in Missouri, New Mexico, Virginia and New Jersey, accusing it of running an illegal casino dressed up as a social casino, with Drake and Kick among the defendants. Drake himself has accused Stake of blocking his withdrawals. None of that is about Stake.com's games, but it's worth knowing who you're dealing with.

Verdict

If you can play on Stake, it's the best-run crypto casino there is: fair published edges, fast crypto payouts and the best design on this list. Deposit with crypto, not through local payment partners, and keep the legal noise in mind.
