Loss per 100 = what 100 wagered loses on average at that RTP, over a very large number of spins.
How to use it
- Search for a slot or pick a provider.
- Read the top RTP and any lower versions the provider lists.
- Open the game at your casino and check its info screen to see which version it runs.
- Copy the URL to share the filtered list.
The same slot can have a lower RTP at your casino
Many slots ship in several versions with different RTPs, and the casino picks one. 13 of the slots above have lower versions listed on the provider's own page, down to 88.02%. Push Gaming says on its game pages that RTPs may vary per casino and that the one you play is shown in the game's menu and on its loading screen. Blueprint lists separate game IDs per RTP. A provider page that lists one RTP doesn't mean no other version exists, which is why the table says "none stated".
The difference adds up. At 96.38% you lose about 3.62 per 100 wagered on average; at 88.42% about 11.58, more than three times as much.
How to check the RTP in the game
- Open the slot at your casino.
- Open the game's menu, info, paytable or rules screen: usually a ?, i or three-line button.
- Look for "RTP" or "theoretical return". That's the version this casino runs.
- Compare it with the top RTP here. If it's lower, the same game pays back more elsewhere.
In Great Britain the rules require it: the Gambling Commission's technical standards say the RTP or house edge must be easily available before you play, in the game or its help pages.
What RTP means, and what it doesn't
RTP is the long-run average: 100 minus the RTP is the house edge. It is worked out over millions of spins, so it says little about one session. Volatility decides how bumpy that session is: a high-volatility slot can pay nothing for hundreds of spins and then a big win. Bonus buys and features can have their own RTP; Blueprint, for example, lists a higher RTP for Fishin' Frenzy Megaways with the bonus buy.
For comparison, Stake's own games such as dice and mines keep 1% (99% RTP), and a European roulette wheel 2.70%. See our casino game odds and house edge calculator.
Slots we left out
We only list a slot when the provider's own page states its RTP. Play'n GO (Book of Dead, Reactoonz) and Games Global (Mega Moolah, Immortal Romance) don't show it on their public game pages, and Relax Gaming's Money Train pages don't give the main version's RTP, so they aren't here yet.

FAQ
- What does RTP mean in slots?
- Return to player: the share of all money wagered that a slot pays back over a very large number of spins. 96% RTP means 96 back for every 100 wagered on average, so the house keeps 4%. It says nothing about a single session.
- How do I check a slot's RTP at my casino?
- Open the game, then its info, paytable or rules screen (often a ? or i button). The RTP of the version that casino runs is stated there. Some providers also show it on the loading screen.
- Why is the RTP different at different casinos?
- Many slots come in several builds with different RTPs, and the casino chooses which one it runs. Hacksaw Gaming, for example, lists Wanted Dead or a Wild at 96.38%, 94.55%, 92.33% and 88.42%.
- Does a higher RTP mean I'll win more?
- Over a long time you lose less on average: at 96% you lose about 4 per 100 wagered, at 88% about 12. Over a short session, volatility matters far more than a point or two of RTP.
- Is live RTP or hot and cold slots real?
- A slot's results are random and independent spin to spin. "Live RTP" numbers measured over a few thousand spins swing a lot by chance and don't predict the next spins.
