How trade-up contracts work

They're based on the trade-up contract in CS2 itself, where you swap several skins of one rarity for one skin of the next rarity up. Gambling sites run their own versions: you put in skins or balance, the site shows the range of items you can get back, and a provably fair roll picks one. Check the value range and odds before you confirm, since most outcomes are worth less than you put in.

FAQ

Are site contracts the same as CS2 trade-ups?: No. They borrow the idea, but the site sets the possible outcomes and odds, not Valve. Only the in-game trade-up follows CS2's own rules.
Can you profit from trade-up contracts?: Sometimes on a single contract, but the odds are set so the average result is worth less than what you put in.
