How trade-up contracts work
They're based on the trade-up contract in CS2 itself, where you swap several skins of one rarity for one skin of the next rarity up. Gambling sites run their own versions: you put in skins or balance, the site shows the range of items you can get back, and a provably fair roll picks one. Check the value range and odds before you confirm, since most outcomes are worth less than you put in.
FAQ
- Are site contracts the same as CS2 trade-ups?
- No. They borrow the idea, but the site sets the possible outcomes and odds, not Valve. Only the in-game trade-up follows CS2's own rules.
- Can you profit from trade-up contracts?
- Sometimes on a single contract, but the odds are set so the average result is worth less than what you put in.
- What is the best trade-up contract site?
- FarmSkins has the highest score of the 12 trade-up contract sites in this list: 7.3 out of 10. Its Betrefs code is betrefs. The list above is always in score order.
- Do these trade-up contract sites have promo codes?
- 11 of the 12 have a Betrefs code. Each one's promo code page has the code, what it gives you and how to claim it.
- Which trade-up contract sites are provably fair?
- 5 of the 12 let you verify results with provably fair seeds, including Skin.Club, Key-Drop, Hellcase.
